Origin
The Meadowfoam flower, or Limnanthes alba, is an herbaceous wildflower that is native to the Pacific Northwest.

Skin Benefits

The compounds in meadowfloam seed extract have been shown in laboratory studies to prevent the breakdown of collagen and reverse damage from sun exposure. Also, it is clinically proven to support and increases the skin’s barrier function by preventing transepidermal water loss. This means deeply nourished skin with anti-aging benefits.

Composition

It is closely related to the mustard family of plants; highly rich in antioxidants and boasts an impressive amount of long-chain fatty acids. The feel is velvety-textured and functions to balances the skin’s natural sebum production. It’s emollient properties plus the light feel make it an all-star ingredient for application on the skin and hair.
